If you wish to make a cell bigger without impacting the entire row or column, one option is to merge multiple cells. When you merge cells, you combine two or more cells into one that spans across multiple rows or columns.
You can shrink or enlarge a worksheet for a better fit on printed pages. To do that, in Page Setup, click the window launcher button. Then, click Scaling Adjust to, and then enter the percentage of the normal size that you want to use.
Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select Column Width. In the Column width box, type the value that you want. Select OK.
Google Docs On your computer, open a document and select cells in a table. Go to Format Table. Table properties. You can also right-click the table and select Table properties. Under Column or Row, enter the width and height you want for all highlighted cells. Click Ok.
How to Make All Cells the Same Size in Google Sheets Select all Columns. Right click and select Resize Columns A-Z. Set the Column Width. Select all Rows. Right click and select Resize Rows 1-1000. Enter your Row Height. Select OK to set Row Height and See Results.
Heres how to go about it: Select an Entire Row/Column. Hover your mouse over the row/column number or letter you want to resize, and youll notice it transforms into a drop-down arrow. Right-Click and Select Resize Rows/Columns Enter Your Preferred Width/Height.
To modify all rows or columns: Rather than resizing rows and columns individually, you can modify the height and width of every row and column in a spreadsheet at the same time using the Select All button. This method allows you to set a uniform size for the spreadsheets rows and columns.
To do this, simply hover the mouse over the right side of the column letter until the cursor turns into a symbol. Then, double-click the right edge of the column letter. This will adjust the column width to fit the contents of the cells in that column.
