Under Programs and Features, click on Turn Windows Features on or off. Windows Features dialog box will open now. Search and locate Microsoft XPS Document Writer from the list of services available. Click on the checkbox next to it and then click on OK.
One key difference between the two is the ease of editing. You can edit PDF documents using docHub Pro, an application docHub offers expressly for this use. However, Microsoft does not offer a similar editing function in XPS Viewer or Microsoft Reader.
Where does Microsoft XPS Document Writer save to. The MXDW printer saves files in the Documents folder: C:\Users\user-name\Documents . (Remember to replace user-name with your original username.)
Once you save a document as an XPS file, you can no longer edit it, as XPS files are designed to preserve the integrity of your document. You can however save an XPS file to another application, such as Microsoft Word, to edit the document and then convert it back to the XPS format.

XPS Document Writer is the default print to file driver that enables users to create XPS files. XPS Document Writer is pre-installed on Windows 10 and 11, but its not a programme where you can create XPS documents directly. Instead, youll need to open a document you want to create an XPS file from.
