Applying a basic conditioner may be all you need to do to fix minor scuffs. Leather conditioner is a moisturizer and just like moisturizing your skin, leather will absorb the moisturizer. Absorbing the moisturizer causes the leather to swell and that swelling will minimize the appearance of scuffs.
First add a small amount of leather oil to the area and rub in a circular motion which may help to lessen the scratch. Leave to dry completely and apply some leather conditioner in order to maintain a good level of oil and wax in the leather. Using Vaseline is also a good option for light scratches.
Buff the area with a colorless shoe polish. Then buff it out with a clear shoe polish or filler cream. Apply the polish in a circular motion to spread it evenly over the area. Use medium pressure to evenly distribute the polish without harming the shoe. The clear shoe polish will not affect any of your shoes color.
White Vinegar: Dab a small amount of white vinegar onto a soft cloth and gently rub the scuffed area. This can help remove superficial scuff marks and restore the leathers shine. Petroleum Jelly: Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the scuffed area and rub it in using a clean cloth.
Place a few drops of mild dish soap in to a small bowl of warm water and gently stir. Dip in your soft cloth or sponge, and wring out before gently scrubbing the mark, making sure not to saturate the area, and finish by wiping dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Removing scuff marks from shoes can be done using common household items like baking soda, toothpaste or a pencil eraser. Gently scrub the scuff marks with the chosen method until they lift off, then wipe the shoes clean with a damp cloth.
Use a Tennis Ball: Gently rubbing a tennis ball on the scuff can get rid of the mark on the wall. Wash the Wall: Use a soft cloth with soap and water to try and wipe the scuff off. You could also try making a baking soda solution by mixing 4 tablespoons of baking soda into a quart of water.
