hey everyone welcome back to just show tech TV in this video I am discussing one of my favorite tools that I use for either creating or being productive at one point I was searching for a tool where I could easily create high quality gifs mainly for use in things like blog posts or technical documentation and this is one that I stumbled upon and now use in my everyday toolbox itamp;#39;s called screen pal but was formerly known as Screencast-O-Matic I use greenpile a lot at work for one making it easier to communicate in a remote work environment and it can make it easier to explain something if your main forms of communication are things like chat and email in the screen pal application it has a record option and once hitting record it will bring up the tool and you can either have it record the entire screen or just crop out the part of the screen you want and I can edit the recording as needed and thereamp;#39;s a lot of different editing options

You can use VEED as a GIF image editor (simply upload the still GIF image, make your edits, and save as GIF) AND to edit your animated GIFs (split, add text, speed up, slow down, add effects, and more!). You can now create your own GIFs from videos youve recorded!
Select the area where you want to record a GIF (computer window, tab, full screen, etc). Start recording and trim your screen recording down to the section you want to turn into a GIF. Click Export Project and select GIF as the output format. Download your new GIF file, and youre all set!
Select your GIF image or video and upload it to VEED. Create a loop by adding the same image or video file into the editor. Export your work as a GIF file.
Make a GIF from a video Upload your video on Jitter. Identify two frames with very close images. Trim your video so that the first and the last images are the two identical frames. Select the GIF format when exporting your file. The loop option is enabled by default, so you just have to download your GIF.
If you are using Photoshop: Open your file in Photoshop. Go to File and click Save For Web. At the very bottom of the save dialog, you will see the Animation section, which should no longer be greyed out. Choose how you want it to loop and then preview the animation before saving it.
Being a type of image, GIFs can easily be edited using something like Photoshop. If you want to make editing a GIF easier, you can use a browser based video editor like Flixier to edit them just like you would any other clip.
How to make a GIF on an iPhone with the Photos app Open the Photos app on your iPhone and tap on the Live Photo you want to turn into a GIF. Swipe up on the photo to bring up the moving picture menu (Live, Loop, Bounce, Long Exposure). Tap on Loop to turn the picture into a repeating GIF. Open the GIPHY app.
If your GIF file is not playing or looping, it might be because the file is too large. If its more than 1080 pixels high or 1920 pixels wide, youll need to reduce the size. There are a number of free, online tools of varying sophistication that you can use.
