In almost any text editor or spreadsheet program, just choose File Open and select the CSV file. For most people, it is best to use a spreadsheet program. Spreadsheet programs display the data in a way that is easier to read and work with than a text editor.
Open the CSV and save it as an Excel file. Then edit it. Then save it again, still as an Excel file. (That way you can always reopen the edited Excel, not losing any work youve done.)
Determine and fix errors in the CSV file On the Operation Results page, click Errors in the Action column. Click Open. Using the Comment column in the error file (the first column displayed), identify the errors that have occurred. Open the original CSV file, correct the errors, and save your changes.
Follow these steps to validate your CSV data: Login into Task Manager. Click the Validate data task. Enter the desired values for the Upload Location and Input Path parameters. Click Ok to execute the task. Click the Task Manager Monitor Tasks tab to check the progress of the validation and to view the result.
You can inspect a CSV file by opening it with a text editor or spreadsheet software. Examine its structure with rows and columns separated by commas, check for header rows, and review the data to ensure it matches your expectations.
Click the Data tab, and select From Text. Find your CSV file stored on your computer, and click Open. In the Text Import Wizard window, be sure Delimited is selected as your file type. In the File origin drop down, select 65001 : Unicode (UTF-8) Check the My Data has headers box. Click the Next button.
CSV Validator generates a checksum for each file and, ing to the rules in the schema, compares it with the information in the DROID generated . csv file, and highlights any errors found. For example, missing files or mismatched checksums.
You can access it from the Edit Find Replace menu or by pressing Ctrl-F on the keyboard. You will then see the following dialog: Enter the phrase or word you are looking for and the corresponding one to replace it with if any. Clicking Find will search for the first occurance of your criteria.
