On the Windows desktop or in a Windows Explorer file browser window, right-click the RTF file and select Print from the context menu that pops up to open the RTF file in the default program -- most likely WordPad or Word 2010 -- and print it using the default printer and print settings.
You can open RTF files in almost any text editor or word processor. Use default programs like WordPad or TextEdit to open rich-text files by double-clicking on them. Alternatively, upload RTFs to Google Drive to open them from anywhere including a computer or your phone.
RTF files are simple to use and easy to edit. On Windows, save a document as an RTF file by navigating to File Save as and then select RTF. Once youve opened your RTF file on Microsoft Word, select the text you would like to edit. Start typing in this space to replace the current text with the new text.
Microsoft Word Download and Microsoft Word if it is not already installed in your computer. Click the File tab and point to Open. Click the Open and Repair submenu. Select the corrupted RTF file. Scroll through the file and see if any changes are there.
Remove a drawing object, header or revision tracking from rejected RTF document Open your document using WordPad. Option A Go to Start All Programs Accessories WordPad. Once the document is open, review it to fix any formatting issues you may notice. Now, re-save the document as RTF. Re-File this new RTF.
To save a file as RTF Open the Word document. From the File button, choose Save As from the menu. Rename the file if desired. Click on the Save As type choice button. Scroll down the list of file types to Rich Text Format (*.rtf) Click Save.
Turning RTF into Word docs isnt too difficult and can be done with either Word or Google Docs. Open your RTF in Word or Google Docs and click Save As. Once you see the Save as dialog, change the Save as file type to . docx.
