hi there this is Barb binder with Rocky Mountain training Iamp;#39;m an docHub certified instructor on Fram maker and in this video Iamp;#39;d like to show you how you can add landscape pages to a portrait document the typical reason I do this is that Iamp;#39;m given a table thatamp;#39;s too big to fit on a portrait page letamp;#39;s say it has 30 columns if I try to put it into a regular portrait page Iamp;#39;m not going to have enough space to make text big enough to read so my solution is to rotate the page uh clockwise and then put the table on that rotated page thereamp;#39;s other reasons to do that but thatamp;#39;s my typical reason and hereamp;#39;s how you do it letamp;#39;s go to the view menu and come down to the master Pages this document has three Master Pages a default left and a default right master and then one for the first page before I create my new master page I need to know what size and position the current template frames are using so Iamp;#39;ll cl

Open the Layout menu, select Margins and then click on Custom Margins at the bottom of the drop-down menu. This opens the Page Setup dialogue box. In this dialogue box, select the landscape mode in the Orientation section. In the setup box, choose Selected text instead of Whole document.
Select the pages or paragraphs whose orientation you want to change. Click PAGE LAYOUT Page Setup dialog box launcher. In the Page Setup box, under Orientation, click Portrait or Landscape.

By default, a document uses portrait orientation, because most documents are primarily text, and text works well in this vertical format. This is what it looks like when you print a portrait page.
To change the orientation of the whole document, select Layout Orientation. Choose Portrait or Landscape.
