To change these settings, choose Apple menu System Settings, click [your name] at the top of the sidebar, then click Personal Information. If you dont see your name, click Sign in with your Apple ID, enter your Apple ID (or another email address or phone number on file), then enter your password.
macOS Ventura or later Choose Apple menu  System Settings. Click Users Groups in the sidebar. Press and hold the Control key on your keyboard, then click the name of the account that youre renaming. When prompted, enter the administrator name and password youve just used to log in.
Heres how to do that on Mac: Go to appleid.apple.com from your browser. Sign in using your Apple ID and password. Click on the Apple ID section in the Sign-In and Security section. Click Change Apple ID. Provide a new email address to use as your Apple ID. Press Continue, and youre good to go!
In the Contacts app on your Mac, select a contact, then click Edit at the bottom of the window (or use the Touch Bar ). To change contact information, click the corresponding field. You dont need to fill in every fieldempty fields dont appear in the contact card.
Customize your Mac with System Settings Click the System Settings icon in the Dock or choose Apple menu System Settings. Open System Settings for me. Click a setting. Settings are listed in the sidebar and may vary depending on your Mac and the apps youve installed. Change an option.
Changing your Macs name Open System Preferences. Click on the Apple logo in the top-left corner of your screen and select System Preferences from the drop-down menu. Choose sharing. Change the name. Confirm changes. Restart your Mac. Verify the change.
Choose Apple menu System Settings, then click General in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) Click Transfer or Reset on the right, then click Erase All Contents and Settings. In Erase Assistant, enter your administrator information and click Unlock.
