welcome friends last time i was working in my office in ms world and i made a document about 28 pages the document was containing landscape pages as well as portrait pages resultantly i added page numbering so as to some extent the page number were in order but in some area the page numbering was disrupted or wrong so i searched a lot of area and inquired about many friends however i couldnamp;#39;t receive a satisfactory solution therefore i kept continuing my search and ultimately i found a way to solve this problem so itamp;#39;s over the screen now iamp;#39;m going to share you how you can add a numbering or a numbering along with the alphabet in ance to your desired numbering either that it starts from 1 one two three four five or you start one two three and then jump to eight five six seven eight or abc thatamp;#39;s up to you so let me show you the method now we are on the screen and you can see that the document is having landscape and portrait both pages so i double click

In a document you have open, right-click a field, such as a table of contents, a page number, or a cross-reference, and click Update Field. Notes: If youre updating a table of contents, in the Update Table of Contents dialog box, select whether you want to update page numbers only or the entire table.
Go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers, select the format you want, and then select OK. Go to Header Footer Page Number Page Number, choose the alignment you want, and select OK.
From the Design Tab on the Header and Footer Tools ribbon (the ribbon that is active when you are in Header/Footer view), select Page Number from the Header and Footer Group. Insert your page numbers and adjust your page margin from this menu.
Turn on or off automatic bullets or numbering Go to File Options Proofing. Select AutoCorrect Options, and then select the AutoFormat As You Type tab. Select or clear Automatic bulleted lists or Automatic numbered lists. Select OK.
Double-click the header or the footer area (near the top or bottom of the page). Go to Header Footer Field. In the Field names list, select Page, and then select OK. Go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers, select the format you want, and then select OK.
To choose a format or to control the starting number, go to Header Footer Page Number Format Page Numbers. To change the numbering style, select a different style in Number format. To change the starting page number of the newly created section, select Start at, and then enter a number. Select OK.
To adjust page numbering: Insert Page Number Format Page Numbers. Make sure Start at is set to 1. To make page numbers continuous: Format Page Numbers and choose Continue from previous section.
