Edit a note In the Notes app on your Mac, click a note in the notes list or double-click a note in gallery view. To find it quickly, search for notes. In the note text, select the text you want to edit, or click where you want to add text, then make your changes.
Make sure notes are in the correct folder In the Notes app on both Mac and iPhone, there are two groups of notes and folders: iCloud and On My Mac or On My iPhone. If the notes you want to sync are not in the iCloud group of notes or folders, they wont sync.
If iCloud Syncing is enabled and you want to revert to an older version of your note, you can do so with the steps below: In the Library, press and hold or right-click on a notes name. Select iCloud Version History. Select a version to restore it. The restored version will be downloaded as a separate note.
In the Notes app on your Mac, click Recently Deleted, then select the note. Do one of the following: Recover a recently deleted note: Drag a note from the Recently Deleted folder to another folder in the sidebar.
Syncing issues can cause Apple notes to keep crashing. Ensure you have a stable internet connection and try re-syncing your notes.
1. Force Quit Notes Go to the main Apple menu and choose Force Quit. Select Notes and click Force Quit. Open the app to see if its working again.
One way is to open your note in the Notes app, click the Edit menu in the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, and choose Undo or Redo, depending on what you want to do. Another way is to use a keyboard shortcut. To undo, press Command + Z , and to redo, press Shift + Command + Z .
In the Notes app on your Mac, use Notes settings to set default options for using Notes and to set, change, or reset the password for locked notes. To change these settings, choose Notes Settings. Choose the default sort order for your notes.
Sort and pin notes on Mac In the Notes app on your Mac, choose Notes Settings. Click the Sort notes by pop-up menu, then choose an option. The option you choose applies to notes in all folders and all accounts that use the default sort setting.
Edit a note On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Keep app . Tap the note you want to edit. Make changes to a note. To undo an action, tap Undo . To redo an action, tap Redo . When youre done, tap Back .
