hey everyone welcome to another MacBook repair so we got an a442 today this is a 2021 MacBook Pro this is one of the more advanced M1 type machines and we got no power no charging which is fairly common unfortunately for these and even though itamp;#39;s a new machine we uh can still definitely get these repaired now weamp;#39;ve got initial 5vt 20 milliamps coming out of this which isnamp;#39;t really uh a lot but itamp;#39;s often PP bus short or one of the USBC controllers that is at fault so as you can see it does take quite a bit to get the boards out of this one it is a bit of a pain and it definitely adds to the cost of the repair due to the labor increase anyway we get it out have a look and straight away I can see what our problems are likely going to be and that is a big fat shorted exploded capacitor on what is likely one of the big rails in this case PP bus Aon which is essentially PP bus G3 hot for the others to reduce the impact of the board weamp;#39;re going to use

Disconnect and reconnect the keyboard. Make sure the connector is completely inserted into the port. Connect your keyboard to a different USB port or to a different Mac. If this solves the problem, your Mac may need to be repaired.
Go to Apple menu System Preferences Keyboard Input Sources. Select Show Input menu in menu bar. Open the Input menu, then make sure the correct keyboard layout for your language is selected. That should do the trick!
Method 4: Reset Keyboard Settings ⚙ Go to System Preferences from the Apple menu. Click on Keyboard Select the Input Sources tab. Click on the minus (-) button to remove all keyboard layouts except the default. Re-add your preferred keyboard layout by clicking the plus (+) button.
