Distractor analysis refers to the process of evaluating the performance of incorrect answers vs the correct answer for multiple choice items on a test. It is a key step in the psychometric analysis process to evaluate item and test performance as part of documenting test reliability and validity.
By default, a nonclustered index is created if clustered is not specified. The maximum number of nonclustered indexes that can be created per table is 999. This includes any indexes created by PRIMARY KEY or UNIQUE constraints, but does not include XML indexes.
SQL Indexes - Types, Uses, Advantages, Disadvantages, and Scenarios Index TypeUse Clustered Index Determines the physical storage order of data in the table Non-Clustered Index Provides a separate structure from the data rows and includes a pointer Composite Index Index on two or more columns5 more rows Jan 2, 2024
The distractive index determines the power of the distractor (i.e. the incorrect options in a MCQ) in distracting the testees. The distractive index is computed in virtually the same way as the difficulty index.
Each table can have up to 999 nonclustered indexes, regardless of how the indexes are created: either implicitly with PRIMARY KEY and UNIQUE constraints, or explicitly with CREATE INDEX . For indexed views, nonclustered indexes can be created only on a view that has a unique clustered index already defined.
2. How many types of indexes are there in sql server? Explanation: They are clustered index and non clustered index.
There can be only one clustered index per table, because the data rows themselves can be stored in only one order.
Index of Difficulty: This is the percentage of the total group which has responded incorrectly to the item (including omissions). Index of Discrimination:This is the difference between the percent of correct responses in the upper group and the percent of correct responses in the lower group.
The difficulty and discrimination indices are among the tools teachers can use to check whether the MCQs are well constructed or not. Another tool used for further analysis is the DE which analyses the quality of distractors.
The Discrimination Index is listed in decimal format and ranges between -1 and 1. What is a good value? For exams with a normal distribution, a discrimination of 0.3 and above is good; 0.6 and above is very good. Values close to 0 mean that most students performed the same on an item.
