hi today Iamp;#39;ll be talking about an easy do-it-yourself fix to a problem with Phoenix brand flashlights in general the Phoenix flashlights have been very reliable if there is a common problem that we see with the lights it has to do with the tail switch not working properly it wonamp;#39;t come on or the light will come on intermittently uh and the common cause of these problems is located within the tail cap thereamp;#39;s a metal retaining ring on the inside and it can become loose over time so what you need to do to fix this is just get a pin or a small tool as you can see there are two holes on the inside of the ring and uh I have a special retaining ring tool here but you could use any household item thatamp;#39;s small enough and you just have to tighten down the ring it takes you know two seconds and replace it hail capap and the light should work for you
