Select one or more cells in a range, table, or PivotTable report. On the Home tab, in the Styles group, click the arrow next to Conditional Formatting, and then click Color Scales. Select a two-color scale. Hover over the color scale icons to see which icon is a two-color scale.
Go to the View tab, then click Slide Master. In the Background section, click the Colours dropdown menu and Customise Colours Name your customisation and click Save.
Heres how: Select the range of cells that you want to format. Go to Home Format as Table. Pick a table style that has alternate row shading. To change the shading from rows to columns, select the table, under Table Design, and then uncheck the Banded Rows box and check the Banded Columns box.

Click General. In the Highlight color box, click the color that you want. Note: You must close and then reopen Excel to see the new highlight color.
On the Home tab, in the Style group, click the arrow next to Conditional Formatting, and then click Highlight Cells Rules. Select the command you want, such as Between, Equal To Text that Contains, or A Date Occurring. Enter the values you want to use, and then select a format.
Here are four steps you can follow to change the cell border color using the More Borders tool in an Excel program: Select the cell or range of cells. Open the Border tool. Scroll to More Borders Select a color. Open the Border tool menu. Access the Line Color settings. Apply the color.
