To change file references in a drawing view: Click Replace Model. (Drawing toolbar) or Tools Replace Model. In the PropertyManager, under Selected Views, select a drawing view. Under New Model, browse to select a part or an assembly file, and click Open. Double-part icon. Click .
Click Tools Options Document Properties Drawing Sheets. Select Use different sheet format, and browse to select a sheet format file (file ending in . slddrt).
To create a new template, or modify an existing one, the process typically goes something like this: File Open and change your file type option to Template. Change the drawing sheet size if necessary. Change the sheet format to the desired sheet format file. Change any options needed within the Document Properties.
Modifications to the drawings that were made to indicate as built conditions should not be bubbled as revisions. A revision bullet symbol, with the revision number, shall be placed next to each bubble. The revision block shall be filled in with the revision bullet and a description of the revision.
To edit a template: Expand Templates and double-click the template to edit. In the Edit Template wizard, do one of the following to change values as needed. Click Next to visit each screen of the wizard. In the left pane, click the name of the screen you want to navigate to. Click OK to save your changes.
In Tools Options System Options Drawings , select Enable symbol when adding new revision. When selected, any time you insert a row in a revision table, the Revision Symbol tool opens so you can insert revision symbols in the drawing.
The Automatic view update option, which controls whether views are updated when the model changes, is now a document property that is saved within the drawing. To change the update option in the current drawing, right-click the icon at the top of the FeatureManager design tree and select or clear Automatic view update.
To edit the drawing sheet format: Click Edit Sheet Format (Sheet Format toolbar), or Edit Sheet Format, or right-click any blank area on the drawing sheet, or the sheet icon in the FeatureManager design tree, and click Edit Sheet Format.
