hi my name is Scott with Weatherall company and Im gonna go over repairs on log homes and these should be real simple to do so I have an example here they pull away where someone when they were chinking they didnt get the material securely against the log either they didnt trial it well enough or it looks like in this case they may have used too much water and alcohol when they were doing their trial and the material never got a good bond to the wood and he doesnt show up right away it shows up you know a year two years after the log for the joint was chinked so Im just gonna go over how you repair it its very simple I use my Albion gun I use a half inch nozzle on it and I just quickly go over the surface make sure that material gets in there and release the pressure on the gun so you have stuff all over the place I have a paper towel handy just to get any excess somehow and then I just on something like this I just lightly spray with a little water and alcohol I just use my fin
