When we try to open an .ASD recovery file, then Word will refuse to open this file since it is not in a trusted location. To be able to open that Word autosave file, well have to move it to a different location. To find that location, we go to File amp;gt; Open and at the bottom we click on Recover Unsaved Documents. Then we simply drag our document into that folder and click on Open. And just in case you dont see the Recover Unsaved Documents button in your Word environment, try to use one of these paths on your computer. You should be able to open the .ASD files from there.
