Hi this is Gary with MacMost Now. On todayamp;#39;s episode let me show you how to use Linked Charts between Numbers and Pages and Keynote. Starting in Numbers here letamp;#39;s create a very simple table and then create a chart from it. So Iamp;#39;m just going to enter in some sample data here. Letamp;#39;s shrink this table down to size so it is nice and neat. Then letamp;#39;s create a pie chart from it. Iamp;#39;ll simply select the entire table and Iamp;#39;ll create a simple pie chart. There we go. Weamp;#39;ve got a chart that represents the simple table that I created. Now here is a very important step. This is an untitled, unsaved document. We need to save it in order for this to work. So weamp;#39;ll just quickly save it here under Documents. Now if we want to put this pie chart here in a Pages document I would select it and then simply copy it. Then I would switch to Pages where Iamp;#39;m already working on another document here. Modify chart data in Pages on Mac Click the chart, click Edit Chart Data, then do any of the following: Add a data series: Click a cell in a new row or column in the Chart Data editor, enter your data, then press Return or Tab. Close the Chart Data editor to return to the chart.
Create a chart in Excel for Mac Click Add Chart Element to modify details like the title, labels, and the legend. Click Quick Layout to choose from predefined sets of chart elements. Click one of the previews in the style gallery to change the layout or style.
