Find and replace text Go to Home Replace. Enter the word or phrase you want to replace in Find what. Enter your new text in Replace with. Choose Replace All to change all occurrences of the word or phrase. To specify only upper or lowercase in your search, select More Match case.
In Microsoft Word, you can use Ctrl H to bring up the Find and Replace dialog box, which allows you to search for a specific word or phrase and replace it with another. To use this shortcut, simply press Ctrl and H on your keyboard at the same time.
The first step is to open Microsoft word, and Click Review at the top of the page. Click Editor dropdown. Click Auto Correct Options in the dropdown. Click Replace text as you type checkbox to turn it on.
Press Ctrl-H to bring up this dialogue. To use a Unicode code in the Replace with box, the simplest thing is to enter the character into the document (or a scratch space), then copy it from the doc into the Replace with window; the ^u notation will not work in the replace window.
You can also press Ctrl+H on your keyboard. The Find and Replace dialog box will appear. Type the text you want to find in the Find what: field. Type the text you want to replace it with in the Replace with: field, then click Find Next.
Find and Replace Text Formatting Click the Replace button on the Home tab. Click More to expand the dialog box. Click the Format button. Select the type of formatting you want to replace. Specify the formatting you want to replace and click OK. Click in the Replace With field. Click the Format button again.
Try it! Select Replace or press Ctrl + H. In the Find what box, type the text you want to search for. Select Find Next to see where the text appears in your file. In the Replace with box, type the text you want. Select Replace to change the text or select Replace All to change all instances of this text in your file.
