In this video, we will show how the new BLOCK ATTRIBUTE MANAGER allows us to modify the attributes of a block in a very intuitive and fast way. A block can contain attributes. In this example we see a tree that contains 3 different types of attributes and each of them are completed. Others, on the other hand, only have 2 complete attributes of the 3 that it contains. But, we could complete them. However, not all attributes are important to be seen on a technical level. Some may only serve as a reference or provide extended information of an element with the aim of being exported to an Excel sheet, for example. ARES Commander offers us the BLOCKATTRIBUTEMANAGER command that can be executed quickly with the keyboard shortcut BAM So, we can see for example that this block has been inserted in the drawing 38 times. At the same time that we select an attribute, we press EDIT, and we indicate that it is a hidden attribute. We will do the same with the next one. Now we see only one attribute,

What is an attribute? An attribute is a data value associated with a particular feature in a GIS layerfor example, the name associated with a particular street, the population of a particular city, or the median household income of a postal code area.
Attribute index names For example, an index on a table of addresses might be called ADRSAPKIDX, where ADRS indicates this index is on the address table, APK denotes the column being indexed, and IDX makes it obvious this is an index.
Add data to an existing table Copy and paste from another application. Copy and paste from another ArcGIS Pro table. Use geoprocessing to add data. Add rows to a table. Insert rows into a stand-alone table. Duplicate a row in a table. Use Fields view to create, modify, and delete fields.
Add an attribute Type a name for the attribute in the Attribute Name text box. In the Field Name text box, adjust the name of the field that will be stored in the feature class, if appropriate. Change the value in the Field Length text box to a longer or shorter length as appropriate.
Creating attribute indexes in ArcCatalog In the Catalog tree, right-click the table or feature class for which you want to create an index and click Properties. Click the Indexes tab. Click Add. Type the name for the new index. Check the Unique check box if your field values are unique.
Creating a new attribute range domain In the Catalog tree, right-click the geodatabase and click Properties. Click the Domains tab. Click the first empty field under Domain Name and type a name for the new domain. Press the TAB key or click the new domains description field and type a description for the domain.
