A number of common issues when using RefWorks online (including continuous buffering when creating a bibliography/reference list, or references being split mid-word by line breaks) may be resolved by switching to either Firefox or Chrome, disabling pop-up/ad-blockers and browser add-ons, and by clearing browsing data (
Open Word and click the Insert tab. Click My Add-ins and choose RefWorks Citation Manager. Is the Citation Manager not listed at My Add-ins? Then click Store, search RefWorks and click . Log in with your RefWorks account and select the correct RefWorks version.
RefWorks Add-on for Google Docs Open a Google Doc and select Add-Ons at the top of the toolbar. Select Get Add-ons. There will be an option for ProQuest RefWorks. Users are prompted to login their gmail accounts. To use the Add-on select Add-ons at the top of the Google doc toolbar and login into RefWorks.
On your computer, open a document on Google Docs. In the document, click where you want to write. On the right, click Help me write . Enter a prompt.
If the RefWorks WNC tab disappears from your Word document it is likely the add-in has become disabled. You will need to reactivate this within Word. Go to the File tab and select Options, Select the Add-in tab and check if your Write-n-cite add-in has been disabled.
Why cant I find the Transcribe option on my Microsoft Word? The Microsoft Word Transcribe feature only works for Word Online, not the application.
