If a professor has previously written a recommendation for you, its not much work for them to update it and send it to a new recipient. So just email to ask whether they could be so kind as to write for you again. Be sure to give them several weeks of advance notice since they may be busy or traveling.

The most important thing about a letter of recommendation is its credibility. So its better not to make any edits on your own. In case they are absolutely necessary communicate any corrections with the person who issued a letter.
Select the application containing the recommendation you wish to change. Select Recommendations from the links on the left side of the page. You will see the names of your recommenders listed and an Edit button beside each. Use the Edit button to change your recommender.
