donamp;#39;t make these font pairing mistakes if youamp;#39;re using two different typefaces in a layout they need to be of a similar mood each able to contribute to a consistent style a script font paired with a hard edge typeface is an odd combination as is a playful decorative headline with an old style serif for the body copy but the ditch on the other side of the road is pairing typefaces that are too similar in this example avenir and proxima nova very similar but not the same results in an inconsistent look this dissonance is like the one almost but not quite in tune instrument in the orchestra and produces an uneasy feeling in the reader so combine fonts that are distinct from one another which share common characteristics like family members

Groff (GNU troff) is a typesetting system that reads plain text mixed with formatting commands and produces formatted output. Output may be PostScript or PDF, html, or ASCII/UTF8 for display at the terminal. Formatting commands may be either low-level typesetting requests (primitives) or macros from a supplied set.
Use sans serif fonts, such as Arial and Comic Sans, as letters can appear less crowded. Alternatives include Verdana, Tahoma, Century Gothic, Trebuchet, Calibri, Open Sans. Font size should be 12-14 point or equivalent (e.g. 1-1.2em / 16-19 px). Some dyslexic readers may request a larger font.
Calibri long the default typeface in programs like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint had been dethroned after 17 years. And now a new font named Aptos was king. The change, announced in July, was first available to Microsoft Insiders.
Different applications and operating systems may have their own set of default fonts. However, some commonly used default fonts include Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri, Helvetica, Verdana, and Tahoma.
groff (/ˈdʒiːrɒf/ JEE-roff) (also called GNU troff) is a typesetting system that creates formatted output when given plain text mixed with formatting commands. It is the GNU replacement for the troff and nroff text formatters, which were both developed from the original roff.
The standard groff fonts TR for Times in roman style. TB for Times bold. TBI for Times in bold-italic style. TI for Times in italic style.
