hey everyone welcome back to of the week in this weeks video and tricks for using the curves filter and the curves filter is one of my all-time favorite filters in photo ah because it really gives me complete control of all of the different tones in my image from my blacks to my mid-tones to my shadows to my highlights and everywhere in between its a really really powerful tool for your photography so lets dive in here and Ill show you some creative ways that you can use it so now were inside photo raw 20/20 and before we start getting creative with our tone curve lets just go over a few of the basics as a refresher so well go into our effects tab here Ill add a filter and well add the curves filter so with our tone curve here this first point on the bottom left is our black point so this point is going to be modifying all of the black tones in our shop so with this black point we can do a few things we can incorporate faded mat styles onto our shot and we can bring in some co
