so lets talk about our style window weve been converting from binary to decimal but in our style window if we look here lets say I want to create a tag Im just gonna create a controller scope tag and Im going to call it a integer Im going to define it as a 16-bit tag Im gonna hit edit here we found that as a 16-bit tag and hit OK now under the style once I created this tag Ill see that I have 16 bits here and I would like to be able to understand what is in there so Im gonna go to monitor tags and if I have a tag right now it has a decimal style view of 0 and so what is 10 in binary if Im looking at this like in this view right here I can change my style it doesnt affect the program to any other language and like a spreadsheet pull it over there is 10 in binary it will change it for you so you can use windows calculator to do it but its much easier just to use the program itself and Im pretty sure if you do it offline it doesnt matter I change this to binary so you dont
