welcome to our channel guys in this video we have got a macbook pro 13-inch from 2015 which a customer brought in and today we are going to clean it and show you how to do it yourself now at first we started to clean it with a microfiber towel which you would think would work and we also thought so in the first place but we actually didnamp;#39;t get anywhere now as it turns out listerine is actually very helpful for getting rid of this issue we used a cotton pad and dripped a little bit of listerine onto it and started circling one particular area at first to see if it would work it actually took quite some time to see any result at all but sooner or later the first spots started to disappear after that it was just a mix of rubbing the pad occasionally dripping some more listerine onto it and having patience as you can see from the footage it is sped up heavily this has to do with the fact that it took us about two to three hours to get it completely clean uh and you can calculate wi

If stubborn marks remain, you can also apply a 70-percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution to the cloth and then wipe the marks away with that. Again, never spray anything directly onto the screen itself. Alternatively, you can use wipes which contain the same solution.
Avoid keyboard covers. Avoid sweaty and greasy hands (food) on keyboard and trackpad too. Avoid dust / small food crumbs before shutting the screen, Ive literally seen people having crumbs and particles between keyboard and trackpad.
Heres a simple trick to remove sticker residue from your MacBook, dont worry, its easy! Use a hairdryer to apply heat to the adhesive. Once the adhesive is warm, use a clean lint-free cloth to wipe away the residue. For stubborn stickers, try using rubbing alcohol or diluted vinegar on a microfiber cloth.
Flexgate is a term used to describe display backlight problems that result from a damaged display flex cable. It is a known issue that affects some models of MacBook Pro. It is caused by a design flaw in the display ribbon cable, which can fail prematurely due to repeated opening and closing of the laptops lid.
Dampen a soft, lint-free cloth with water only, then use it to clean the computers screen. To clean hard-to-remove smudges or fingerprints on the display or exterior of your Mac, you can use a cloth moistened with a 70-percent isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution to gently wipe the display or enclosure of your Mac laptop.
The first step in troubleshooting distorted colors on your Mac screen is to check the display settings. Go to System Preferences Displays and make sure that the resolution and color profile are set correctly for your specific monitor.
Staingate happens when the anti-reflective coating on certain models of MacBook displays begins to delaminate and wear off, causing a stain-like appearance that is noticeable when the screen is off, on a low brightness setting, or when sunlight is hitting the screen.
If you are still experiencing discoloration, you can try blotting with 3% hydrogen peroxide. It is very important that you carefully blot, not rub or scrub. Rubbing can damage texture of the carpet. The above steps work for all biological stains like urine, feces, and vomit human or pet.
