Hey everyone welcome back. We are looking at the IF formula in excel and in particular, if a cell contains the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39;, we want to bring back something if thatamp;#39;s true, and if it doesnamp;#39;t contain the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39; we want to bring back a blank. So to do this we need to combine the SEARCH function and Iamp;#39;ll show you in two easy steps how to get it all in one formula. So letamp;#39;s get started. EQUALS, SEARCH, weamp;#39;re searching for the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39;, comma, within the cell B4, close brackets, and it comes up with the number six. What that means is it has found the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39; and itamp;#39;s the sixth character along where we start to find that word mints. Weamp;#39;ll drag the cell down and you can see that in the cells that donamp;#39;t contain the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39;, it brought back an error, and where it did contain the word amp;#39;mintsamp;#39;

Turn on Excel Track Changes feature On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click the Track Changes button, and then select Highlight Changes. In the Highlight Changes dialog box, do the following: Check the Track changes while editing. This also shares your workbook.
In the Review tab, select Show Changes. Changes are shown in the pane with the most recent changes on top, in the order the changes were made. You can see who made edits, exactly where in the workbook, when, and what they changed. You can also see Changes made at once by clicking on See changes in a bulk card.
To manually recalculate all open worksheets, including data tables, and update all open chart sheets, on the Formulas tab, in the Calculation group, click the Calculate Now button.
Step 2: Go to the home tab and then select the font group. Change it to wingdings. Step 3: Now press and hold the Alt key while you type the character code on your numeric keypad. The character code for the check mark symbol is Alt + 0252.
Inserting Check Mark Using Character Codes Open the Symbol dialog by going to Insert Symbol. Choose Wingdings from the font dropdown. Type 252 in the Character code box. This will automatically highlight the check mark symbol. Press Insert.
When you highlight changes as you work, Excel marks any revisions (such as changes, insertions, and deletions) with a highlighting color. Click Review Track Changes, and then click Highlight Changes. In the Highlight Changes dialog box, select the Track changes while editing check box.
Another way to recalculate worksheets manually is by using keyboard shortcuts: F9 recalculates formulas in all open workbooks, but only those formulas that have changed since the last calculation and formulas dependent on them. Shift + F9 recalculates changed formulas in the active worksheet only.
Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then click anywhere in the formula bar. This starts Edit mode and positions the cursor in the formula bar at the location that you clicked. Click the cell that contains the data that you want to edit, and then press F2.
