How to create color profiles in Camera Raw (quick guide) Open a RAW file in Photoshop Camera Raw. RAW photos dont actually have color spaces because the files are simply unprocessed camera sensor data. Once you process the photo and assign an exact color value to each pixel, its at that point that color spaces become relevant.
When shooting RAW, which I highly recommend, you only record the raw image data that the camera sensor receives, so no color space is embedded at this point. You therefore get to chose the color space to edit or export your images in in your RAW editor of choice (e.g.: Lightroom, Camera Raw or Capture One).

Click Edit in the right panel and open the Color Grading drop-down. Use the color wheels for Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights to adjust the colors in your image. Adjust the Blending and Balance sliders to blend and balance the influence among Shadows, Midtones, and Highlights.
