Click on the Edit tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Next, highlight Changes, and finally highlight Record. If there is a check mark next to Record, select Record to disable the Record changes feature. If you do not disable this feature, all text that you enter into the document will be recorded as edits.
To start Calc recording changes: 1) Open the Budget Spreadsheet. 2) Select Edit Changes Record from the menu bar. 3) Begin editing the document.
To begin tracking (recording) changes, click Edit Changes Record. To show or hide the display of changes, click Edit Changes Show.
When you highlight changes as you work, Excel outlines any revisions (such as changes, insertions, and deletions) with a highlighting color. On the Review tab, click Track Changes, and then click Highlight Changes. Select the Track changes while editing. This also shares your workbook check box.
Use Edit Changes Record to turn on change tracking and then use Edit Changes Show to show or not show the changes. If you mouse over a change a little pop-up will show it.
