hi everyone kevin here today i want to show you how you can print in microsoft excel but dont you just click on the file menu and then go down to print and then you can print out your spreadsheet if you want your printout to look exactly how you want it to look youll likely have to make some tweaks and well run through what those are to follow along ive included a sample workbook down below in the description all right lets check these out here i am in excel and i want to print out this table right here that we see on this worksheet so to print we go up to the file menu and then i can click on print right here or an even quicker way to do that is you can use the shortcut key combination control p and that also brings up the same exact print dialog and over here on the right hand side we can see a preview of what would print out if i click the print button right now but if we look at this i only have a few of the columns on this one sheet here if i scroll down i see a few more colu

Shrink a worksheet to fit on one page Click Page Layout. Select the Page tab in the Page Setup dialog box. Select Fit to under Scaling. To fit your document to print on one page, choose 1 page(s) wide by 1 tall in the Fit to boxes. Press OK at the bottom of the Page Setup dialog box.
Scale the sheet size for printing On the Page Layout tab, select Page Setup. On the Page tab, select the Fit To check box. In the Page wide by box, enter 1 (for one-page wide). In the Tall box, enter 0 so that the number of pages tall is unspecified. On the File menu, click Print.
You can move a sheet to a different position, click and hold the sheet tab at the bottom of the screen with the mouse and drag it to its new position. select Edit Sheet Move/Copy from the main menu. Specify the new position of the sheet in the dialog.
Set the printing order of worksheet pages Click the worksheet for which you want to change the printing order. Click the Page Layout tab, and then click the Dialog Box Launcher. next to Page Setup. Click the Sheet tab, and then under Page order, click Down, then over or Over, then down.
Change the Scaling (Fit All Rows/Columns in One Page) Click the File tab. Click on Print (or use the keyboard shortcut Control + P) In the Print window, click on the Scaling option (its the last option on the left) Click on any one of the options: Fit Sheet on One Page. Fir All Columns on One Page.
On the worksheet, select the cells that you want to define as the print area. Tip: To set multiple print areas, hold down the Ctrl key and click the areas you want to print. Each print area prints on its own page. On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Setup group, click Print Area, and then click Set Print Area.
Move a page break On the View menu, click Page Break Preview. Rest the pointer on the page break line until the pointer changes to a. , and then drag the page break line to a new location. Note: When you move an automatic page break, it changes to a manual page break. Manual page breaks are not adjusted automatically.
On the Page Layout tab, click Page Setup, and then click Sheet. Under Page order, select the page numbering order that you want.
Left-click and hold the mouse button until you see a little black arrow appear next to the tab and your mouse pointer should have a small page icon under it (this icon didnt come through on the screenshot below). Then, simply drag the sheet tab to whichever position you want.
