welcome back to cell 101 im andrew from dd microphones and todays episode were going to be going over how to record better audio when shooting a wedding [Music] so lets identify first what actually needs to be recorded thats unique and special to a wedding and what can we ignore and not have to concentrate on so first thing lets look at the ceremony during a ceremony theres a lot of speeches that would be given sometimes people will do reading of passages or poems of course the bride and the groom and the efficient will do a lot of talking all that needs to be captured one way to do that of course is to tap the audio board from the venue with something like a zoom h4 of course do that but thats not all you need to do let me show you a couple of techniques i like to do that goes above and beyond the traditional tapping of the board so during a ceremony there are three different techniques that i like to use when recording audio for something like a bride officiant and the groom
