Adding Line Breaks You can do this with a LineBreak inline, added as an XAML element within the text. A new line will be started at the position of this element. If you have configured the text to be justified, the final line before the line break will not be expanded to fill the available width.
You can add comments to the XAML code thats in the MainWindow. xaml tab in the following ways: Enter after the comment.
Great question. No its not dead. We have a team working on WPF and supporting it. We now switch to the model where we accept a lot of PRs from the community because we think of WPF as very mature project so not that much rapid development is happening in WPF area, but we totally support it.
If you were considering a Windows desktop application (built on something like WPF), Blazor is a more future-forward choice. But if youre a business building modern, public web applications, theres very little chance youll recommend a client start with Blazor today.
Alternatives to WPF include: Platform Uno. Avalonia. Blazor.
WPF is definitely not dead. The WPF project was open sourced by Microsoft and published on GitHub [2]. There is even a public roadmap for WPF with target dates for 2022.
