Revit creates the revision schedule and displays it in the drawing area. In the Project Browser, double-click the empty node under Sheets (all). The title block displays in the drawing area. In the Project Browser, under Views (all) Schedules, select the revision schedule, and drag it to the drawing area.
Typically you manage the revision process as follows: Enter information about the revision in the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog. Update the Revit project to implement the change. In one or more project views, draw revision clouds to indicate the areas that changed. Assign a revision to each cloud.
To add a revision to a sheet using Revits default method, you simply click on the Edit button of the Revisions on Sheet property. This opens a dialog where you can apply the revisions you have in your project to that sheet.
Edit an Existing Numbering Sequence In the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog, under Customize Numbering, click Numbering. Select an existing numbering sequence from the list. In the numbering dialog, click (Edit). Specify the settings: (Optional), Set a prefix and suffix for each number in the sequence. Click OK.
Solution: Create a Sheet List under View Create Schedules Sheet list. Select Sheet Name in available fields. Add it to the schedule fields. Select Sheet Issue Date (and any other instance parameter that needs changing) Add them to the scheduled fields. Select OK.
Create a New Numbering Sequence In the project, click View tab Sheet Composition panel (Sheet Issues/Revisions). In the Sheet Issues/Revisions dialog, under Customize Numbering, click Numbering. In the numbering dialog, click (New). Choose the sequence type, Numeric or Alphanumeric. Specify the settings:
