How to change printer ink settings?

Fortunately, you can modify these settings once for all documents you print. Choose StartDevices and Printers (in the Hardware and Sound group). Right-click a printer and then choose Printing Preferences. Click any of the tabs to display various settings, such as Color.

How do I get my printer to recognize ink cartridges?

If its still not working, try unplugging the printer to clear its memory. Step 1: Remove the new cartridge from the printer. Step 2: Turn off the printer. Step 3: Unplug the machine. Step 4: Wait for at least ten minutes before plugging the printer again. Step 5: After plugging in, reinstall the new cartridge.
