One way to do this is to use a program like Photoshop. With Photoshop, you can resize an image without losing quality by using the Image Size dialog box. In the Image Size dialog box, you can change the width and height of the image. You can also change the resolution.
Resize an image Choose Image Image Size. Measure width and height in pixels for images you plan to use online or in inches (or centimeters) for images to print. Keep the link icon highlighted to preserve proportions. Select Resample to change the number of pixels in the image. This changes the image size. Click OK.

To resize images in Paint: Open the application, then Open the Image. From the Home Tab, select the Resize and Skew Icon (note the original pixel size shown near the bottom). Make sure there is a check mark in the box next to Maintain aspect ratio; then set the width and click OK.
How to Change Image Resolution Using docHub Photoshop With Photoshop open, go to File Open and select your image. Go to Image Image Size. An Image Size dialog box will appear like the one pictured below. To change only the resolution, uncheck the Resample Image box.
Follow these steps. Open your image in Photoshop. Choose Image Image Size. Deselect Resample. This will automatically lock the current ratio of Width and Height. To adjust Resolution, add new values. To adjust Document Size, add new values under Height and Width.
Select the Crop tool from the panel on the left and at the top of the screen youll see a Ratio drop-down menu choose 1:1 (Square).
Method 1: Using the image resizing menu Open image. Open Photoshop and click File Open Then find your image on your PC or Mac and click Open. Resize the image. Click Image Image Size Set your image size parameters. Complete resizing. Save your image.
