hello friends today weamp;#39;ll be discussing whether multiple stents can be done in a single vessel at the time of angioplasty and what exactly is an indication uh usually multiple sense even up to three or four stents can also be done in a single vessel depending on the length of the blockage uh usually the stent length which is available in the market ranges from around eight millimeters to 48 millimeters some companies do manufacture six millimeters and uh 54 millimeter strains also but if at all we have a blockage which is much more than 48 millimeters and the length of the lesion which needs to be covered by the stent is more then we require uh more number of strains sometimes what happens that the longer strength because it is not flexible it is very difficult to penetrate or enter the stent in a longer stain in a vessel so in that case we sometimes require to use two smaller stents because the flexibility of a smaller stent is better so in that case sometimes we end up using
