hello everyone and welcome to handmade hero this is the show where we code a complete game live on stream although today what weamp;#39;re actually coding is the thing that will produce font bitmaps for our game so technically itamp;#39;s not in the game itamp;#39;s little offline utility to shove fonts into bitmaps so that we donamp;#39;t have to do it ourselves I mean I guess technically weamp;#39;re doing it ourselves because weamp;#39;re writing the utility but you get the idea so the the point here is pretty basic itamp;#39;s just to say that look we need fonts in the game we want to be able to have those fonts edited in a normal font editing package so that either we can just take free fonts that we want or purchase a font from a font foundry thatamp;#39;s been made by a professional font designer and then turn it into art assets we can use in the game or we would like to be able to make our own fonts in a font creation utility but either or we want to leverage that exist
