Make sure you are on the Main Slide Master (the one at the very top in the left column). Put your cursor anywhere in the Click to edit Master text style text. Right-click and choose Bullets (or Numbering) from the shortcut menu. If you like one of those options, choose it; if not, click on the Bullets and Numbering
To reset bullet points in PowerPoint back to default, you can follow these steps: Select the text box or placeholder that contains the bullet points you want to reset. Click on the Home tab in the PowerPoint ribbon. In the Paragraph group, click on the arrow next to the Bullets button.
Right-click, and then click Adjust List Indents. Change the distance of the bullet indent from the margin by clicking the arrows in the Bullet position box, or change the distance between the bullet and the text by clicking the arrows in the Text indent box.
Customizing bullet spacing Select the lines you want to change, then go to the desired indent marker. In our example, well use the hanging indent marker. Click and drag the indent marker as needed. When youre done, the bullet spacing will be adjusted.
Press the Tab key to create indented bullet points. Shift + Tab to go back a level.
All the content layouts in PowerPoint include bulleted-list formatting. To remove the bullets or add them, you select the content placeholder and click Bullets on the HOME tab. To add a new item and drop down another level, press Enter, and click Increase List Level. Or, press Enter+Tab.
Change the color, size, or format of bullets or numbers in a list Click a bullet or number in the list that you want to change. On the Home tab, under Paragraph, click the arrow next to Bullets or Numbering. Click the bullet or numbering list format that you want in the Bullet Library or the Numbering Library.
