How to edit a comment in Microsoft Word documents Open the Word document. Make all comments visible. Click in the comment. Edit the text for that comment. Click out of the comment to save changes.
Click File, and then look for Author under Related People on the right. Right-click the author name, and then click Edit Property. Type a new name in the Edit person dialog box.
There are two ways you can delete or remove comments from a Word document: To delete a single comment in the document, right-click the comment, and choose Delete Comment. To delete all the comments in the document, go to the Review tab, click the down-arrow on Delete, and choose Delete All Comments in Document.
Turn on Track Changes On the Review tab, select Track Changes. In the Track Changes drop-down list, select one of the following: To track only the changes that you make to the document, select Just Mine. To track changes to the document made by all users, select For Everyone.
There are two ways you can delete or remove comments from a Word document: To delete a single comment in the document, right-click the comment, and choose Delete Comment. To delete all the comments in the document, go to the Review tab, click the down-arrow on Delete, and choose Delete All Comments in Document.
This red line is there because there are still changes in the document that need to be accepted (which can be minor changes like double spaces or a wrongly placed comma). Step 1: Go to the Review tab and click on Accept (Word 2019). Step 2: Click on Accept All Changes and Stop Tracking.
