Do you think evaluation in management coding sucks? If so youre definitely not alone. But today Im going to be starting a four-part series breaking down those guidelines of evaluation in management coding. [MUSIC] Hi everyone. Im Victoria and on my channel I discuss medical coding, HIM, compliance, auditing, and health care business stuff. I just want to thank everyone for all of the shares and likes and new subscribers that I got from my last video on six-figure medical coding. If you havent checked it out, definitely make sure you see that one. I got a lot of really great feedback from that last video particularly from my friends in the medical coding podcasting world such as Brian Quinn, Tony L Homes. Brian says that hes going to be stepping up his game now, I kind of envy some of my friends in the podcasting realm some days because podcasting, you can roll out a bed and record a podcast. Update AMI Navigate to AWS Console –> Services –> EC2 –> Auto Scaling –> Launch Configurations. Select a LC –> Copy launch configuration. Click Edit AMI. Click Create launch configuration.
Patch Manager, a capability of AWS Systems Manager, automates the process of patching managed nodes with both security-related updates and other types of updates.
AMIs are immutable. Every time you start an instance of an AMI on EC2, the local disk is in the exact state it was when you created (or 'bundled') the AMI.
AMI-replacement patching is done on immutable infrastructures by updating the AMI ID that is configured to deploy new Amazon EC2 instances in an Auto Scaling group. Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) are released on a regular basis for the supported operating systems.
You can update an AMI image pipeline using a JSON file as input to the update-image-pipeline command in the AWS CLI. To configure the JSON file, you must have Amazon Resource Names (ARNs) to reference the following existing resources: Image pipeline to update.
Create an AMI from an Amazon EC2 Instance Right-click the instance you want to use as the basis for your AMI, and choose Create Image from the context menu. Create Image context menu. In the Create Image dialog box, type a unique name and description, and then choose Create Image.
Choose Auto Scaling, and then choose Auto Scaling Groups. Verify that the Auto Scaling group uses the new launch template. Terminate one or more instances in your Auto Scaling group. Replacement instances will be launched using the new AMI.
When you deregister an instance store-backed AMI, it doesn't affect the files that you uploaded to Amazon S3 when you created the AMI. You'll continue to incur usage costs for these files in Amazon S3. Therefore, if you are finished with these files, you should delete them.
Update AMI Navigate to AWS Console –> Services –> EC2 –> Auto Scaling –> Launch Configurations. Select a LC –> Copy launch configuration. Click Edit AMI. Click Create launch configuration.
AWS provides updated and fully-patched Windows AMIs within five business days of Microsoft's patch Tuesday (the second Tuesday of each month). The AWS Windows AMIs contain the latest security updates available at the time they were created.
