Change the font for all text using styles Select Format Text Styles. In the Item to Change list, select All, then select the font, size, or color you want for all text in the current view. Repeat this process for other views.
In this case, Calibri is the default body font in Word. This means that any text you type into a new Word document will automatically be set in Calibri font, unless you change it to a different font. Calibri Light is a variant of the Calibri font that is designed to be used for headings and subheadings in a document.
Go to Home, and then select the Font dialog box launcher at the bottom right corner of the Font group, or press CTRL+D. Select the font and size you want to use. Select Set As Default.
To change the default font: Open a new or existing Microsoft Word document. Click the [Home] tab Locate the Font group. From the lower-right corner of the Font group, click the small arrow. Choose the font style and size you would like Word to use by default (e.g., Times New Roman, Size: 12).
Go up to the File menu and select Options and then click on the default font drop down where it says Body Font currently. Select Calibri and that should force it going forward.
Change theme fonts On the Page Layout tab in Excel or the Design tab in Word, click Fonts, and pick the font set you want. To create your own set of fonts, click Customize Fonts. In the Create New Theme Fonts box, under the Heading font and Body font boxes, pick the fonts you want.
Look for typefaces with high x-heights and few frills. Distinctive glyphs are distracting, and delicate shapes can be lost at small sizes due to the coarseness of rendering environments. Small x-heights are a problem for body text, because they draw too much attention to capitals and extenders.
