Changing an existing two-factor authentication method. You can configure a different authenticator app or change your phone number, without disabling 2FA or creating a new set of recovery codes.
Turn off 2-Step Verification Open your devices Settings app and tap Google. Manage your Google Account. At the top, tap Security. Under How you sign in to Google, tap 2-Step Verification. You might need to sign in. Tap Turn off. Confirm by tapping Turn off.
If you wish to reset your 2FA, please follow the steps below: Go to Settings from the main menu and tap Security 2-Factor Authentication. Tap the Reset 2FA button at the bottom of the screen. Follow the steps below to complete verification using your passkey if its set up:
Sign in to your Coinbase account. Select in the top left and select Profile Settings under your name. Select the Security tab and select Change security settings (this will open a mobile browser window). Select Upgrade your two-factor authentication.
How to reset a 2FA Go to the bottom of the screen where your name appears. Click Edit Profile. The Two-Factor authentication provider set by your administrator will appear on this screen. Reset the password with that authenticator.
How to enable two-factor authentication (2FA) via OTP You will be directed to the Home page and click My Account Click on Security and select Add 2FA. Enter your password. Scan the QR code using Google Authenticator. Enter the authentication code from Google Authenticator.
To unlock your account: Return to the login screen and click or tap on Forgot password. Enter your registered PDAX email address on the forgot password screen. You will receive an email with a 6-digit one-time password, which will be required in setting up your new password.
