Failed authentication: If you fail authentication three times, you must contact the sender to have them resend the envelope with a new code. Envelope not accessible/envelope correction in progress: If the sender is correcting the envelope, they must finalize their corrections before you can access the document.
This issue can occur for one of the following reasons depending on the verification flow that applies: The signer provided an ID document that is not supported. The ID has expired. The picture or video is too low quality and prevents from reading the ID information.
Edit Identity Verification Configurations In eSignature Settings, select Identity Verification. Select Actions for the configuration you want to edit and select Edit. Update the information as necessary, and select Save.
Add a new account to the Microsoft authenticator app Go to the Security info page using the steps above. Select Add sign-in method. Select Choose a method and then Authenticator app. Follow the on-screen instructions, including using your mobile device to scan the QR code, and then select Next. Select Save.
For eSignature, the available identity verification methods are: Phone Authentication: This method requires the recipient receive an SMS text message or answer a phone call to receive an authentication code. The recipient then enters the code in order to view their documents.
Thank you for docHubing out here in the Community. You can apply changes to any envelope or recipient that has not been marked as completed. If the envelope was declined by a signer, that means the document was voided, if that is the case, a new envelope would have to be sent out for signature.
Go to and click Update Info under Security info Click Change next to Default sign-in method Click App based authentication - notification and then Confirm The new method will now be your default. Each time you sign in it will use this method.
To resolve this issue: Wait roughly 20 minutes and try again, you should be able to access your account. If you need immediate assistance, contact your eSignature administrator to request a password reset to bypass this lockout.
