Open an existing document in Pages See Find a document. at the top of the screen. at the top of the screen, then the document is already in editing view.
Use auto-correction Choose Pages Settings (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen). Click Auto-Correction at the top of the settings window, then select or deselect Correct spelling automatically. With autocorrection on, do any of the following:
You can copy/paste the text content from a PDF that allows it into Pages, where you can edit the text, and re-export as PDF.
To email a document: Open your Pages document, choose Share Send via Mail, and then choose Pages, Word, or PDF from the submenu. Pages: Creates a Pages version of your document. Word: A new mail message opens with the document version attached to it. Edit the email message and click Send.
Convert a Pages, Numbers, or Keynote file on iPhone, iPad, or Mac. in the toolbar, then tap or click Export and Send. Choose a format for your document: To convert a Pages document to Word, choose Word.
Edit or remove a link Click the linked text or the link button on the linked object, or double-click a link in a table cell. In the link editor, click Edit. Make your changes or click Remove. When you remove a link, the link text is retained but the link formatting is removed and the link is no longer active.
Open an existing document in Pages For a Word document, drag it to the Pages icon (double-clicking the file opens Word if you have that app). You cant open PDFs in Pages.
