Hi There. This is Michael from MSA with some more nonprofit quick tips. Today were going to talk about how to write an effective press release. The first thing you need to do is think of an attention-grabbing headline and format it in bold, capitalizing the first letter and any proper nouns. Start off your first paragraph with the city youre in, the date, and some sort of attention-grabbing first line, also known as the grabber. The release should be written as youd like to see it appear in print. Make the journalists job as easy as possible, providing clearly the who, what, when, where, why, and how. Theyre very busy. Theyll appreciate it. If theres a quote you can use, include it in the press release. This is a great way to add a personal touch and make the story come to life. The message of the Restoration is [an] invitation to know why the gospel of Jesus Christ and His true Church have been restored by a prophet in modern times.
It is easy to think of redemption as the ultimate end, but restoration means that there is more to redemption than the promise of eternal life. The lives of the redeemed are restored to good purpose on earth. Gods restored people bear fruit in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God (Col. 1:9-12).
If they will return to the Lord, then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have mercy on you, and he will gather you again from all the peoples where the Lord your God has scattered you. (Deuteronomy 30:3, ESV) When we turn toward God, He restores, even after a lifetime of separation from Him.
This is what the LORD says: `I will restore the fortunes of Jacobs tents and have compassion on his dwellings; the city will be rebuilt on her ruins, and the palace will stand in its proper place. From them will come songs of thanksgiving and the sound of rejoicing.
The children of Zion can be glad and rejoice because rain has returned to nourish the ground (Joel 2:23). All this leads up to its climax in verse 25: I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten. What this meant for these people was that God would give back the harvests that had been destroyed.
The great promise of the Bible is not just that God will restore his people, but that he will restore creation. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Old hostilities will be reconciled: The wolf and the lamb shall graze together (65:25).
Read through these eight Scriptures whenever you need a reminder about the renewal and rebirth that is promised in Gods Word (ESV). Titus 3:5. Isaiah 40:31. Ephesians 4:22-24. Romans 12:2. 2 Corinthians 4:16. Exodus 34:10. Psalm 51:10. 2 Corinthians 5:17.
The great promise of the Bible is not just that God will restore his people, but that he will restore creation. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Old hostilities will be reconciled: The wolf and the lamb shall graze together (65:25).
