Now the latest version of Pages, Numbers, and Keynote have the ability to recognize when fonts are missing and gives you a way to replace them. So Im using Pages version 6.1. This can happen very commonly if say you take a document from one Mac to another and the font isnt on that other Mac. Maybe you have a laptop and a desktop. Or maybe you send the file to somebody and they dont have the font. Or you get one from somebody and you dont have it. Or maybe you just havent opened a Pages document in a long time and youre missing the fonts now. For instance, as an example, Ive got this title font here. Im using Papyrus and Im using Harrington here for the second line. So what Im going to do, is Im going to quit Pages. Im going to go into Font Book which is on every Mac and you can use that to manage your fonts. Im going to use this to simulate missing fonts. So Im going to search for these and Im going to control click on them and disable them. So you wouldnt normally do t
