hey guys waiting here from HT type videos today I want to show you how to get your work back if you were working on a project with Google Docs and your paper got erased as long as the file is still there for example just like this this is the paper that got erased you can get it back Im going to show you how to do that so first of all open the document you were working on some of my Google Docs opening it up this was supposed to be my final paper and its gone and nothing is here so what youre gonna do so like you might have tried like ctrl Z which ctrl Z doesnt work if youve I closed the project and reopened it but all hope isnt lost what youre gonna do is go to file and go down to see revision history and in the upper right corner right here this is your revision history and so it shows today excuse me December 2nd which doesnt really help us too much it does kind of help us theres a little bit of the paper right there but if we go down the bottom go to show more details det

These can be found via File, Open and clicking the Recover Unsaved Documents button found at the very bottom of the Recent File List. Open Word and select File, Options. In the Options dialog box select Save from the left hand menu. Note the AutoRecover files location.
Under File, navigate to Info and click on the Manage Document dropdown. From the options, click on Recover Unsaved Documents. Any unsaved changes to the document will be shown under the Manage Document header. This opens up a dialog box that shows the folders of unsaved documents.
Go to File Info Manage Document Recover Unsaved Documents.
In MS Word, click the File Tab in the upper left. Click Manage Document and select Recover Unsaved Documents from the drop-down list. Check for your missing file in the dialog box. Open the recovered Word document and click the Save As button in the top banner.
Turn on Track Changes On the Review tab, select Track Changes. In the Track Changes drop-down list, select one of the following: To track only the changes that you make to the document, select Just Mine. To track changes to the document made by all users, select For Everyone.
Restore Previous Versions (PC) In Windows, if you right-click on a file, and go to Properties, you will see an option titled Previous Versions. This option can help you revert to a version of your file before the overwrite occurred, allowing you to get your data back.
Right-click on the Word file, and select Restore previous versions. A list of available items will populate, along with their locations.
Other Versions of the File Open the Word file that you saved and now want to restore to its previous condition. Click on the File tab and and select Info. Select the version you want to open in the Versions list. Click the Restore button when the file opens.
