A Salvage Title is a title that states that a vehicle is not allowed on the roadway because it has been severely damaged or totaled. A Restored Title is a title that states a vehicle was once Salvaged, but has since been restored to road worthiness.
A rebuilt title means the car has been damaged, but repaired and inspected. A salvage title means the car can be attempted to be repaired or sold for its parts. While these types of vehicles are cheaper upfront, the cost to finance, insure, and repair down the road may not make the purchase worth it.
Con: It might be worse than you thought Despite being repaired and inspected, there may be a chance the vehicles damage wasnt detectable in a standard inspection. Framework damage, in particular, may often go undetected and can be hard to repair.
A Restored Salvage Certificate of Title is issued to a vehicle that has been rebuilt or restored for highway use. What is a restored salvage title? | Department of Transportation - ADOT azdot.gov faq what-restored-salvage-title azdot.gov faq what-restored-salvage-title

A Salvage Title is a title that states that a vehicle is not allowed on the roadway because it has been severely damaged or totaled. A Restored Title is a title that states a vehicle was once Salvaged, but has since been restored to road worthiness. Restored Titles are sometimes called Rebuilt or Reconstructed.
A good rule of thumb is to keep your title between 6 and 12 words. Finally, youll need to give over the salvage title in order to receive your new restored salvage title, which will officially grant your vehicle roadworthy status and allow you to insure it in the state of Arizona.
A rebuilt title will tend to decrease the value of a vehicle by a fair amount. The price drop usually ranges from 20 percent to 40 percent. After incurring such docHub damage, even with effective repairs and a careful eye, it may not be possible to fully restore a totaled vehicle to its original condition.
Its important to note that a reconstructed title can be an indication that the vehicle has been docHubly damaged and repaired, but it does not necessarily mean that all repairs have been completed or that the vehicle is in perfect condition.
