Renewal of Baptismal Vows In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Almighty and Eternal God! You know all things. You see the very bottom of my heart, and You know that, however sinful I have hitherto been, I am resolved, by the help of Thy grace, to love and serve Thee for the remainder of my life. And therefore, O my God, kneeling before the throne of Thy mercy, I renew, with all the sincerity of my soul, the promises and vows made for me in my baptism. I renounce Satan with my whole heart, and will henceforth have no connection with him. I renounce all the pomps of Satan, that is, all the vanities of the world, the false treasures of its riches, honors and pleasures, and all its corrupt teachings. I renounce all the works of Satan, that is, all kinds of sin. To Thee alone, O my God, I desire to cling; Thy word will I hear and obey; for Thee alone I desire to live and to die. Amen. In the name of the Father, and of the Son

Obviously, you will need to have the childs name featuring prominently on the invitation. You would then include the venue, the date and time. Its also nice to include a Bible verse, greeting or poem. Some people like to include the names of the godparents and parents and it is entirely up to you.
Here are a few things you should include on your baptism invitation: Full name of the child being baptized. Names of the parents, godparents, and grandparents of the child. Names of the hosts of the baptism if its not the parents. Date and time of the baptism. The location of the baptism.
Sample Invitation John and Mary Smith joyfully invite you to the christening of their beloved daughter, [Childs Name]. Join us on this blessed occasion on [Date] at [Time] at [Church Name, Address]. A reception will follow at [Location]. Kindly RSVP by [Date].
The christening party will be invited to the front to gather round the font, and this will typically consist of the parents, godparents, and perhaps grandparents. Inviting the godparents should be done in advance, but do be aware that it is an honour that a few people turn down.
If the person is an adult, then tell them that youre happy for them. If you can go, then attend their baptism. Thank them for inviting you, and be the safe person that the person being baptized thinks you are. You can still give them a congratulations card.
Usually, christening invitations follow a fairly standard format. Start with (Name) and (Name) invite you to celebrate the christening of (Childs Name). Or, go for a more simple Youre invited to celebrate the christening of (Childs Name), which is also ideal for single parents.
You should send invitations at least three to four weeks before the baptism. For guests who need to travel from out of town or if the baptism is on a holiday like Easter you should give more notice to ensure theres enough time for travel planning. Include an RSVP card so you can keep track of who is attending.
