hi today we are just in the shop Ive been in the other tin shop with a Masterton and coppersmith that I have an apprenticeship with but I wanted to show you what really old copper cookware looks like especially if youre a collector and youre wondering if something is really old or not we got two pieces in from a new client who handed them off and just said look weve never used them we know theyre really old but we have no idea if theyre even salvageable how can we do it so we grabbed them one of them wasnt even true meaning it didnt sit flat on a on a cooks stove or even on a table it was really bowed out on the bottom these are made with a pretty thin gauge of copper its not even I guess its maybe a millimeter thick but I mean youre looking at less than less than a thats maybe a millimeter but its really old and Im gonna show you a way that you can tell if something is old or not and were gonna go were gonna go from there so let me switch the camera around and Ill sh
